The IARIA continuing its policy of absolutely non-reviewed articles and the IEEE publishes all the Proceedings with garbage papers of IARIA

We do not know anymore what to assume. The IARIA continuing its policy of absolutely non-reviewed articles and the IEEE publishes all the Proceedings with garbage papers of IARIA
The IARIA is a real disaster and a slap in the face of science.

Why doesn't IEEE stop to publish the IARIA proceedings? because of the commission of course!

While browsing the net, I found two more fake journals in Computer Science:

(1) Computer Science Journals

(2) International Journal of Computer Science Issues (IJCSI) (

There is a tendency for researchers to publish in open-access journals (like, than IARIA conferences. Most have understood that open-access publications is the future and is inevitable.

Hello, I have attended the SIMUL conference in Porto in september 2009. I did not know Dini before. It was a scam. My experience was terrible. Junk conference, just to make money (for himself and his wife). sessions completely heterogeneous, with papers about everything with no possibility to give feedbacks.
Participants were attracted because they have their papers published by IEEE. But they have to pay a high fee, which most has to go to IEEE to pay for the proceedings.
PLEASE DO NOT GO to conferences organised by Petre Dini and IARIA.
He contacts people to enter the scientific committee and then creates a chain of people who in good faith invite other people to enter in the scientific committee and/or attend the conference. The invited people accept because the invitation comes from people whom they know.

I agree and is GOOD with IEEE and IARIA becouse
a) I think the IARIA is a Tier 2 conference for a Research from poor countries and unknown Universities that want to learn to make research not only a high level research.
b) During my work like research I read many papers that have very limitated contribution acepted in tier ONE conference (High level conferences IEEE), If you compares it with some papers from my undergraduated students, it have less contributions but is comming from top or well known University or researcher and it was acepted with honors... One of the paper of my Students was rejected in a top conference IEEE in se same conference!!!! oh my God..
c)Some time a good paper in a tier 2 or tier 3 conference make more contributions that the best paper of Tier 1 confereces.
d)Some potential Students or Begginer Researches are upset becouse the paper is rejected for gramar or format problem becouse they come from a poor and unknwon Universities...

In our Blog:
you can found the official confess of the IEEE itself:

A letter from Evan M. Butterfield (Director of Products & Services, IEEE Computer Society10662 Los Vaqueros Circle, Los Alamitos, CA 90720714.816.2165) informed in Jan 17, 2009 the following:

The IEEE Computer Society (CS) has evidence that multiple (IEEE) conferences are receiving machine-generated papers. In two cases, conferences have actually accepted an obviously fraudulent submission. This is a serious issue that threatens the credibility of your conference, the quality of the digital library, and the reputation of both the IEEE and CS. It requires your immediate attention. Please take this opportunity to ensure that your peer review processes are being followed, and adapt to any new requirements that may be communicated by the IEEE or the Computer Society. No conference published by CPS should rely on an abstract review. It is very important that you review carefully the full text of all papers submitted to your conference. If you have already accepted papers, your program committee should review the full text again. While CPS staff will be conducting random spot-checks of conference papers in the publishing queue, we are relying on you to authenticate the content of your proceedings. Any papers that were not actually presented at your conference need to be brought to our attention, and should receive close review. In known cases, the machine-generated origin is obvious from a reading of the first few paragraphs of the paper; the abstracts are human-generated and do not indicate the quality of the paper itself. In the past, papers have been submitted by “Herbert Schlangemann,” but be mindful that the perpetrator of this fraud will change the approach over time. In the event you discover any evidence of questionable content or behavior, please communicate that to us immediately along with an action plan for addressing the problem. Thank you for your help in maintaining the quality of our products. See:

Petre Dini,

You must stop running IARIA conferences advertizing them with the Publication Services of IEEE. You destroy
a) young researchers looking for "easy" publications in IARIA with IEEE CSPress. The young reseachers cannot realize your fake IARIA/IEEE Conferences from the good and serious conferences

b) the name of IEEE Computer Science Press because you accept papers without any kind of review

c) yourself

d) tax-payer citizens

I agree. IARIA conferences are totally garbage. I was in an IARIA conference in Romania some years ago. I tired to attend three sessions.
The first session had 5 papers and only 1 was presented.
The second session had 4 papers, but only 1 was presented. The third session had also 4 papers in the program but the authors did not show up. The conclusion is that IARIA conferences is only to make luxury vacations with the money of your university or company, to find a good girlfriend/boyfriend and have a good time. No science at all, guys!

I had a paper in the 6th IARIA International Conference on Wireless and Mobile Communications (ICWMC 2010). To my bad surprize, they had in their proceedings the title:

Proceedings of the 6th IEEE/IARIA International Conference on Wireless and Mobile Communications (ICWMC 2010)

I do not know if they were entitled to use the name of IEEE.

Anyway, IARIA or IEEE/IARIA or IARIA/IEEE or what other scam they do use now, they are fake, scam, junk conferences.

Hope that somebody could stop the IARIA fake conferences.........
